How to make your wedding design TIMELESS & SEASONLESS!

For the 2020 brides, a lot of you would have to postpone the wedding day, maybe from a spring wedding to a fall celebration, or a summer wedding to a winter event. Let’s talk more on how to make your wedding a TIMELESS CLASSIC that it would not be affected by the change of seasons!

  1. Use of Greenery
Greenery never goes out of trend. The green leaves and foliage can help create a timeless look that when you look back in 10 years or even 30 years, it would still look as great. You could go for elegance in the form of a wild garden celebration, or you could go modern when matching greenery or plant-like structures with glass or metals. It depends on what your flair and personality is.

2. Incorporation of Neutrals
Neutral colors are indispensable to a timeless and seasonless design. It might sound a bit bland, but you can go more creative and use different textures to give sophistication to the event. For instance, you can match neutral beige table linen with wooden or golden chairs. These two are already of different vibes - either elegant garden mood or elegance with a dash of glam. You can also match grey table runner or linen with greenery for a subtle and delicate mood. Even though the color palette is in a neutral tone, you can play around with different textures and it would not go out of style or season.

3. Love for Candles
Candle is romantic and always elevates the event design. Use different types of candles to match with your event aesthetics and you can also use a variety of candles (high and low, bronze and glass) for sophistication.

4. Work on Your Stationery Items
As we have again emphasized on the importance of stationery items here and there on our IG and blogs, an invitation suite often presents the first impression of your timeless wedding to your guests - it helps sets the tone right. Work with your stylist and your stationer to create beautiful stationery which still looks great when you get to show your kids and your grandkids - this is the invitation of our wedding 30 years or 50 years later. Think of it this way, when you look at Audrey Hepburn’s photos back in the 50s, she still looks as chic and gorgeous and timeless as ever.

Hope you find these tips useful when working on your timeless wedding!
