5 tips to elevate your wedding ceremony experience!

Happy 2021 and I wish you all a great year ahead - in terms of happiness, and on top of that - health :)

COVID-19 has changed a lot of our habits over the past year including how we celebrate weddings, that we might have to forgo banquets and just focus on the wedding ceremony. But just having a wedding ceremony does not mean the celebration itself is any less important, it is still a sacred occasion to celebrate the love between you and your partner and share the joy with your closest ones. So here we are today - to talk about some tips to elevate the experience!

  1. Welcome gifts of thoughtful snacks or takeaway
F&B is a current no-no during the ceremony; however, we could still put in thoughts into making some unique snacks for guests to take away after the event. It could be snacks which consist of your wedding colors, your logo, or something which match your overall wedding design and mood.

2. Thoughtful Programs
They are not just providing information about the rundown but are beautiful additions to your ceremony as part of the decorations to enhance the mood; for instance, a program fan if you’re doing an outdoor ceremony under the sun, or a leaflet map with illustrations on where to go on what period of time… You could really use a lot of creativity here :) Also, you could relay messages about your event, say your hashtag or some etiquettes you wish your guests would abide by.

3. Consider the Weather
Consider having a dress code which is appropriate for your wedding location - hot & sunny beach or a chilly autumn day. Also, think of backup plans including setting up a marquee, bringing in umbrellas (could be tailor made to match your event design), or even provide shawls for ladies :)

4. Focal Point of the ceremony
Where you and your partner stand will be the focal point of the ceremony, where all guests have their eyes on. We are outdoor ceremony lovers, so if the venue itself could already offer an amazing and jaw-dropping backdrop, perhaps you could save up a bit on floral arches or decor as you already have nature doing the works for you!

5. Entertainment
If you have the budget to spare, you could consider having live music to spice up the celebration, or having a painter to do a live illustration of the ceremony! We’re sure all your guests would be amazed!

Putting in more thoughtful and creative ideas will surely make your guest experience a better and more memorable one! I’m sure one of the things you want your guests to leave with would be a BIG smile on their faces! :) Hope you’d love these little tips above and don’t hesitate to leave us a message should you want to discuss more!
