How to work on a Wedding Budget?
Budgeting is for sure one of the most important elements in wedding planning. How should we think about it and how should we allocate it into different categories. Let’s dive deeper and take a look here :)
Set your priorities
Have a discussion with your fiance(e), or even your parents if they are contributing to the overall budget. Come up with the top 3 most important items to you all, for instance, the venue, the florals, the food, the photographer, the band, or even the gown. Be clear and let this guide you throughout the planning and budgeting process.
2. Come up with a breakdown based on the overall budget
While establishing an overall budget, come up with the different categories of vendors required and set budget accordingly. Refer back to the budget before booking a vendor as you would not want to overspend a lot on one vendor and then compromise too much on some other items on the list.
3.Don’t miss out the details!
Don’t leave out the smaller necessities when working on the budget, especially for destination weddings! These also add up to the final budget too, for example, the rentals, the lighting, the tables the chairs, the flatware… and so on :)
And remember, we are here to help you out and guide you through should you need further advice! Wedding planning should be an enjoyable process for you to celebrate the beginning of a lifetime spent with your love!
