How to create an extraordinary pre-wedding shoot

Hello all, it has been a long while since we blog here. We have been packed with weddings over the past year and thank you so much for staying with us!

Hong Kong has finally opened up and our couples are looking to do overseas weddings or pre-wedding shoots again! We have recently just done a comprehensive pre-wedding shoot for our couple and I’d like to share some tips here with you :)

1. Decide what you want to achieve in the shoot
Do you have any visions on your photos? Do you want a backdrop of nature - what kind of nature scenes is it - against the ocean, among the floral fields, in the woods? Do you have grand architecture, modern or ancient? These questions will help you narrow down the options and make your vision clearer.

2. Work on a variety of locations
Consider areas which offer a variety of locations to do photoshoots, there you could do different styles and outfits. It gives you liberty to try out different things.

Our couple C&K recently did their prewedding shoot in France that they first privatized Chateau de Villette, then they did a modern shoot in the heart of Paris. Afterwards they headed south for a relaxing and luxurious vibe at a resort hotel in Gordes, and finally they embraced nature in the lavender fields.

3. Work on the mood of the shoot
After you have confirmed the venue, then you work on the mood for each shoot. Think of the vibes you want to create.

4. Source the outfit, accessories, props
Even though it is a wedding related photoshoot, it does mean you have to wear bridal gowns at every location. Pick suitable outfits which match the vibe and the location. Source appropriate props and accessories to complement the whole look.

C&K have worked out a comprehensive plan with us to achieve different mood.

Hope this is inspiring and send us a message if you want a memorable experience and an epic shoot!
